On The Surface

An omnipresent feature of the Oklahoma and Texas landscape are oilfield and chemical storage facilities, though not all are created equal in terms of surface characteristics welcoming of abstract photography. While some of these were located while driving, many were found through detailed Google Maps searches. All images are produced as archival pigment prints mounted on black 1.5" cradled Baltic birch panels and sealed with print lacquer.
